North Platte Community College Foundation

Mission

To secure financial and community resources to support North Platte Community College programs and services. The Foundation will assist the college in meeting the needs of its students and community by supporting strong and productive learning environments.

Goals

• To work with the college to meet identified needs which best promote student success.
• To identify and secure community and individual support for the college.
• To promote a positive image of the college.
• To provide support for the educational and student support programs and activities at the college.
• To increase scholarships and grants for students to continue their education.
• To provide resources for any faculty or staff.
• To assist the college in development of its facilities.

Focus

The focus of the Foundation is to promote and support projects and activities in the following areas:

• Student scholarships and grants
• Facilities
• Faculty and staff innovative projects
• Program development efforts including equipment and related items.

The Foundation will play an important role in the overall development of the college. The vision of the Foundation will be consistent with that of the college in best serving the needs of our students.
