​Area Part-time Security Staff – Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Area Part-time Security Staff.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing a professional and physical presence on MPCC facilities.  Perform security patrols, observe facilities and conduct of MPCC community members, interact positively with MPCC community members, review security cameras, maintain logs and records, coordinate with multiple departments on campus, and assist in emergency situations.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska.  Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, positive attitude, maintain composure in difficult situations, and willingness to be CPR certified.
