Logo designs from these three McCook Community College students are being featured on posters, postcards, letterheads and merchandise promoting MCC's 90th anniversary celebration this September. MCC students in the illustration class were invited to submit designs, and the winning logos were submitted by (from left) Adryan Lucero, Inga Kot and Emily Karr. The 90th celebration is set for Sept. 3.

The designs of three McCook Community College students will be prominently displayed in the coming months as part of the college's 90th anniversary celebration Labor Day weekend.

Originally designed 90th anniversary logos from Emily Karr, Adryan Lucero and Inga Kot will be featured on postcards, letterheads and commemorative merchandise.

"Our 90th anniversary committee really liked specific design elements from all three of these students and we will use all of them in some way," said committee member Jennifer Morgan.

The 90th celebration is set for Saturday, Sept, 3.

Coffee and rolls will be offered from 8-10 a.m. Tours of campus will be conducted from 9-11 a.m. and again from 1-3 p.m.

Alumni will gather at McCook restaurants from 11am-1pm for lunch.

The Lady Indians volleyball team is hosting a volleyball tournament that weekend and game times and matchups will be determined at a later date.

The Alumni and Friends Dinner is set for 6-9 p.m., at the McCook City Auditorium. Tickets are $15 per person. Call 1-800-658-4308, extension 3691 or 308-535-3691 to make a reservation.

Reminder postcards will be sent out in late July.

College staff have been compiling a list of alumni, however complete records are not available for many years. Please provide contact information to Jo Ann Lundgreen at  308-535-3691.

The students' logos will appear on commemorative merchandise that will be offered during the celebration. This includes men's and women's crew-neck T-shirts and coffee mugs.
