MPCC celebrates part-time employees

Mid-Plains Community College is honoring 30 part-time employees for their dedication and service to MPCC.

Doris Howard, of North Platte, served 50 years, which was the longest of anybody. Howard is a scorekeeper and game worker at North Platte Community College sporting events. She also makes sweet rolls for the Sweet Saloon as part of a NPCC volleyball fundraiser during NEBRASKAland Days.

"The part time staff are the largest group of employees and in a large part are the backbone of the college - keeping everything humming along," said Rebecca Wrage, MPCC area director of Human Resources. "They are very necessary, and these awards are just another way to show our appreciation for them."
