Classic Car Restoration
An Automotive Technology Certificate in Customization and Restoration will focus on the restoration and customization of classic cars and trucks. Your training will involve hands-on experiences in all aspects in creating a classic vehicle into a work of art. Each year the college restores a classic car which becomes the face of the transporation division. You may find yourself working on that project or it is acceptable to work on a project of your own. The two-year program consists of two semesters of automotive technology and two semseters of auto body training. You will taught by highly qualified instructors with national reputations in class car restoration and customization. Recommended Electives
Electives to be considered include classes in business, communication, computers, electronics, diesel technology and others with the approval of an advisor. A business management class is strongly recommended.
TRAN 1005 Safety is a prerequisite for all Auto Technology classes, except night classes.
