Unraveling the Truth about ADHD - You don’t know what you don’t know. About 10 percent of kids between 4-7 years old have been diagnosed with this condition in the US, making it one of the most commonly diagnosed disorders for children. What is concerning is the fact that almost all of these kids end up on psychoactive medication. However, there is another way. This program will empower you to form a plan and a path for improving brain health and total (physical, mental, emotional and chemical) health as it relates to ADHD.
Class meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the South Campus, instructed by Dr. Jeff Hoover. Class fee is $10 per person or $15 per family.
Digital SLR Camera - Are your once in a lifetime photos (family, sports, vacation, kids, etc.) being missed because you have a great camera but do not know how to use it? Is this the year you really want to take great pictures? Then this class is for you! Instructor Alan Mais, The Camera Doctor, will help you learn how to get the pictures you want, while teaching you in “layman’s terms” the hands-on operation of your camera. Pre-registration with payment is required before attending class. You must cancel 48 hours prior to class to receive full refund.

Advanced Digital SLR Camera Class - A photography class for the advanced beginner who wants to learn how to successfully photograph their subject. This is a very hands-on class. Students will learn photographic techniques, camera settings, and use provided flash, lenses, filters and other accessories. Prior attendance in the Digital SLR Camera class is required. Pre-registration with payment is required before attending class. You must cancel 48 hours prior to class to receive full refund.

Bird/Wildlife Watching - This exciting class will review the various types of optics available and will provide great information for anyone interested in buying new optics to view birds, animals, and various wildlife. A variety of designs and features will be covered regarding available optics. This session will focus primarily on binoculars and spotting scopes. This class will also provide suggestions on places to go view wildlife in western Nebraska.
Class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the South Campus, instructed by Rick Windham. Class fee is $25.
Bow Tying Class - Do you see big beautiful bows on presents, wreaths, and floral bouquets and wish you knew how to make one? Come learn from the expert, Jennifer Gilland, for this one-night fun evening class.
Class meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the South Campus. Class fee is $15.
Metal Engraving & Design II - A continuation from basic principles class, learn hand push engraving techniques and basic hammer and chisel techniques. Create designs on your metal jewelry, plaques, serving platters, etc. There will be a supply list available prior to class. Check out the instructor’s sample work at www.rogerfattig.com.
