North Platte Community College will host a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the new South Campus cafeteria at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Construction on the $1.5 million project began in May. It features seating for 100.
“This cafeteria will provide much needed relief to the original concession stand in McDonald Belton that has provided meals to students, staff and guests since its construction was completed in 1975,” said MPCC President Ryan Purdy.
The college will also have a Time Capsule Ceremony at the Health and Science Center at 4:30 p.m. following the Ribbon Cutting. Refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend.
