Kaylee Guerrero (left), sophomore zoology major at McCook Community College, helped coordinate a donation of 50 pair of gloves for MCC students. Guerrero, is a Phi Theta Kappa Vice President and that group is one of several that comprise the MCC Student Senate. Every year the student senate helps collect cold-weather clothing for students from warm-weather climates. In addition to being a student, Guerrero works part-time at First Central Bank and knew the bank had some surplus gloves from a previous project. She arranged the bank’s donation and the gloves were displayed in von Riesen Library and free for any student needing them. Here she is joined by freshmen Zack Lane, Phoenix, Ariz., and Myles Shabi, Sydney, Australia.
