NPCC men’s basketball team to host Haunted Hoops camp

Local youth will have the opportunity to brush up their dribbling and other basketball skills thanks to a Haunted Hoops camp planned for the end of October.

The North Platte Community College Knights Men’s Basketball Team will host the camp from 1-3:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The camp is open to boys and girls in first through sixth grades.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball and will also receive encouragement about academics and goal setting.

The cost is $40, which includes a Knights Haunted Hoops t-shirt, free admission to a Knights game when wearing the t-shirt and a pizza party and photos with the basketball team.

Registration forms are available on the college’s athletic website: https://npccknights.com/sports/mbkb/2021-22/files/Haunted_Hoops_2021_Brochure.pdf. They must be submitted by Oct. 15 to guarantee a t-shirt.
