Wiese recognized with You Rock Award

North Platte Community College maintenance technician Travis Wiese has been recognized with a You Rock Award for demonstrating exemplary internal customer service.

Wiese was nominated for the award by the college’s nursing faculty.

“Travis is always coming to our rescue,” his nomination letter reads. “Any time we need to have anything fixed in the nursing department he is more than willing to help out - even if it is not part of his regular job. The nursing faculty appreciate him going above and beyond.”

Wiese received a commemorative plaque and certificate for his efforts Monday in NPCC’s Health and Science Center.
