Area high school students perform at Best of the West Music Festival

North Platte Community College is inviting the public to attend its Best of the West Music Festival Oct. 25. The event will showcase the talent and skill of the area’s top high school musicians who earned the right to perform at the festival after being nominated by their music teachers.
NPCC music department introduces Prairie Angels Chorale
A new choir group has launched at North Platte Community College for girls in grades 4-12. The Prairie Angels Chorale will be led by NPCC music instructor Kristin Simpson, who wanted to create another performing arts opportunity in the community for school-age children.
MPCC men’s rodeo team claims region title at Cornhusker College Rodeo
The No. 2 Mid-Plains Community College men’s rodeo team wrapped up the Great Plains Region title following the Cornhusker College Rodeo in Lincoln on Saturday.
