Dick Driml Chili Cook-Off raises funds for MCC music department

McCook Community College music students Paige Bopp and Izabella Schmidt helped serve up bowls of chili at the 22nd annual Dick Driml Chili Cook-Off. The event was at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds

It was a music department fundraiser named in honor of Driml, a longtime MCC music teacher. This year's judges selected Amanda Keneipp as top chili chef. Kellanie Salyer was second, Michael Muehlhausen was third. The People’s Choice award winner was Ricky Clapp. All money raised helped benefit the MCC music department under director Dr. Mirna Cabrera.
