Public joins NPCC in “Rockin’ the Choir”

NPCC music department to host spring concert
The North Platte Community College music department will take audiences “Around the World” with its spring concert May 5. Lexington artist receives ‘Best of Show” at MCC; Norton team wins paint-in
Lexington High School’s Brianna Zarate’s untitled acrylic on pastel was named Best of Show Friday in the McCook Community College Paint-In art show. One of the teams from Norton Community schools received first place in the paint-in competition Friday.
NPCC student art show planned at Prairie Arts Center
The artwork of North Platte Community College students will be on display this month at the Prairie Arts Center. The show will feature two-dimensional works from students in the Drawing I and II, Design, Life Drawing and Painting I classes.
NPCC Music to present “Rockin’ the Choir”
North Platte Community College will host its first concert under the new south campus pavilion April 23. “NPCC Music Presents: Rockin’ the Choir” will feature performances by students, staff and community members in conjunction with Kearney-based band, Blue Plate Special.
