The education program at Mid-Plains Community College is designed for students planning to pursue careers in education and continue their studies at a four-year college or university. Students will complete a combination of general education requirements, education focused coursework and elective options to build a strong foundation prior to transfer.
Program Highlights
As part of the education program at Mid-Plains Community College, students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a practicum setting at the Child Development Center in McCook.
To work with children in this setting, students must successfully complete fingerprint screening through the Nebraska State Patrol and obtain clearance through the Child and Adult Abuse Central Registry.
