PTK announces fall Trash-a-thon
Members of Alpha Beta Theta, North Platte Community College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, are organizing a litter pickup to help beautify the community.
The event is open to the public. It will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 11. Volunteers are asked to gather in the fireplace area of the McDonald-Belton Building on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.

MPCC Rodeo Teams Dominate at Blue Hawk Stampede
The Mid-Plains Community College men’s and women’s rodeo teams brought home team titles from the Blue Hawk Stampede Rodeo, hosted by Dickinson State University this past weekend. The men’s team earned an impressive 1,245 points, while the women’s team secured the title with 300 points.
