NPCC to present “Bus Stop”
The North Platte Community College theater department, in partnership with the North Platte Community Playhouse, will present “Bus Stop” as its fall production. Performances are planned for Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 19-21 at the North Platte Community Playhouse’s Fox Theater in downtown North Platte.
NPCC hosts Craniofacial Clinic
This year marks the first that NPCC hosted the Craniofacial Clinic, which is offered by dentists, doctors and other providers from around the state. It is designed to help children born with and recovering from craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
MPCC to offer class about orphan train
“Reading and Riding the Orphan Train” will be the subject of a new class offered through Mid-Plains Community College in November.
Area high school students perform at Best of the West Music Festival
North Platte Community College music instructor Kristin Simpson works with choir students during the Best of the West Music Festival on Monday at NPCC. A total of 120 area high school students earned the right to perform at the festival after being nominated by their music teachers.
