Father/daughter use cabinetry classes to fulfill service project
Jared and Laurel Daily, of North Platte, stand beside cabinets they built at North Platte Community College. The shelves were created in cabinetry classes the father and daughter duo are taking together at NPCC.
Laurel decided to pursue cabinetry because she enjoyed helping her father with an addition on their home and wanted to learn more about tools and building construction. Among other things, the classes taught the Dailys about tool safety, design and building techniques.
The cabinets will double as a service project for Laurel for the National Honor Society. They will be used in a newly designed gift shop at the Lincoln County Historical Museum.
