Learning Commons drive yields 450 books

North Platte Community College's Learning Commons collected approximately 450 books and magazines during its book drive last month. Initially conducted in honor of National Library Week, April 4-10, the drive was extended through April 30. 

Donations were turned over to the North Platte Public Library on Friday. Based on this year's success, Learning Commons staff hope to make the drive an annual event. Pictured left to right are: Learning Commons staff: Kim Boyer, Susan Furrow and Regina Hanson.
