Holdren named MPCC Business Student of the Month

Kodi Holdren of Brush, Colo., has been selected as Mid-Plains Community College’s Business Student of the Month for December.
“MPCC has the best program for what I wanted to do. I also really liked the feel of the town because it isn’t super big, but it is bigger than my hometown,” she said about attending school in North Platte.
Holdren is studying Business Entrepreneurship and was nominated for the honor by MPCC Business Instructor Angie Chittick.
“Kodi is such a delightful student. She comes to class every day with a smile on her face and a passion for learning. Kodi’s work is exemplary. She is detail-oriented and works hard to ensure her work is done correctly. Kodi’s enthusiasm and strong work ethic make her a great candidate for this recognition,” said Chittick.
Holdren is on track to graduate in the spring of 2027 and plans to return to her hometown to open a bakery.
“I want to make people feel happy and valued through my business,” Holdren shared.
