MPCC STEM Club to host STEM Station at Lincoln County Fair
The Mid-Plains Community College’s STEM Club will host a free STEM Station July 24-26 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the Lincoln County Fair.
Fairgoers of all ages are invited to explore science, technology, engineering and math through a wide array of engaging, hands-on activities, including:
- Creating water art on the STEM Station walls and ceiling
- Experiencing 3D printing in action
- Building with 10,000 LEGO bricks
- Exploring physics with volleyball levitation
- Testing reflexes in a hands-free ping pong challenge
- And much more!
The STEM Station, located in the Open Class Building, aims to make learning fun while encouraging interest in science and innovation through creative play and experimentation.
