Jackson Lunn of Whitecourt, Alberta proved once again why he’s among the top bareback riders in collegiate rodeo, earning two first-place finishes in the bareback event at the MPCC Stampede rodeo this past weekend.

The Mid-Plains Community College rodeo teams opened the 2025-26 season this past weekend at the 61st Annual Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo in River Falls, Wis. The men’s team claimed the top spot in the team standings, while the women’s team placed fourth.
