Transfer to MPCC

A student who has attended an accredited institution of higher education other than MPCC must submit:

  • MPCC Admissions Application
  • Official high school transcript indicating graduation date or official GED transcript
  • Official college transcript(s) with degree conferred if applicable

How to Transfer Credits to MPCC

Students who attended an institution within the United States and wish to receive an evaluation of credit prior to attending MPCC must request official transcripts from all previous accredited colleges or universities attended at least 30 days prior to registration be sent to:

Attn: Transfer Credit Evaluations
Mid-Plains Community College
1205 E 3rd Street
McCook NE 69001

Electronic Transcripts

If your previous institution offers electronic transcript delivery, select Mid-Plains Community College as the recipient when requesting your official transcript. If an email address is required, please have the official transcript sent to reghelp@mpcc.edu.

Any transcript received directly from the student will be deemed unofficial.

International Credit Transfer

For the evaluation of transfer credit from institutions located outside of the United States, students must request a detailed, course-by-course evaluation from an approved credential evaluation service. A list of approved agencies is available at NACES.org. To be considered official, evaluation reports must be sent directly from the evaluating agency to the address listed above.

What happens next?

Once your transfer evaluation is complete, an e-mail will be sent to your MPCC and personal e-mail addresses notifying you that your transfer credit has been posted onto your MPCC student record and viewable on your unofficial transcript in CampusWeb.

The student's "Degree Audit" in CampusWeb will summarize institutional requirements and indicate how the transfer credit applies to these requirements.

College courses in which a grade equivalent to a “C-” or below has been earned will not be considered for transfer credit.  Some MPCC programs require a C+ or above to meet program requirements.
