MPCC Spring Concert March 3
Mid-Plains Community College’s music department will host its first concert of the spring semester March 3.
The event is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the North Platte Community College South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd., in North Platte.
Music centered on the theme of hope and will fill the evening, featuring performances by the college’s jazz band, the Jazzy Knights, along with the college’s choirs, the Knightly Singers and the Knightingales.
In addition, members of the NAfME student music club will have an interactive activity for the audience during the set change.
MPCC ribbon cutting planned for Electrical Technology Building
Mid-Plains Community College will celebrate the completion of its new Electrical Technology building Feb. 18 during a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. on North Platte Community College North Campus, 1101 Halligan Dr.
