MPCC students selected for Nebraska Intercollegiate Band
MPCC students Adriana Black and Vanessa Wood have been selected as members of the 2026 Nebraska Intercollegiate Band.
They will represent MPCC March 5-7 as part of the 65th annual Nebraska State Bandmasters Association convention in Lincoln.
The Nebraska Intercollegiate Band includes outstanding instrumentalists from colleges and universities across the state. Students selected for the honor spend time rehearsing together before performing for the public.
The 11:30 a.m. performance on Saturday, March 7 in Kimball Recital Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus is free and open to the public.
Black will be playing saxophone and Wood will be on trumpet.
