NPCC Theater department/community playhouse to present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”

The North Platte Community College Theater Department will join forces with the North Platte Community Playhouse to present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” Nov. 13-15 and Nov. 20-22.

Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. All performances will be in the historic Fox Theater in downtown North Platte.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a celebration of hope, resilience and the power of dreams based on the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and his multi-colored coat.  Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber; Lyrics by Tim Rice; Book by Tim Rice; Music arranged by Martin Silvestri and Jeremy Stone; Directed by NPCC Theater Instructor Ritch Galvan.

Tickets can be purchased online beginning Nov. 9 at: northplattecommunityplayhouse.com or at the playhouse box office Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. the week before the performance. They will also be available at the door an hour before every performance.

Adult tickets are $23 in advance or $25 at the door for general admission. Tickets for high school students with IDs and for children younger than 16 are $13 in advance or $15 at the door. MPCC students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with ID.
